• Fire Prevention Overview

  • The Bayville Fire Company hosts an open house each Spring to foster fire safety within the community. Come visit the firehouse, meet firefighters, and enjoy a fun day. Food and drinks are provided along with really cool stuff for kids. Look for the announcement on our website.

Throughout the entire month of October, the men and women of the Bayville Fire Company visit schools around the Village schools, visiting school after school each week to give our kids the opportunity to see the men and women firefighters talking about and teaching them Fire Safety. During the school visits, the kids are all gathered around to see all of the gear our fighters need in case of a fire. Get the chance to see the gear, hear and see different smoke detectors and the fire trucks.

The Bayville Fire Company No.1 makes Fire Prevention Week fun and exciting in the way all ages can learn to understand the safety of fire. The day of Open House, Firefighter Timothy Maloney did a demonstration on how to properly use a fire extinguisher and the different types of fire extinguisher.
